Mastering Your Smartphone Class Series

Are you puzzled by some text message? Curious about how to send voice messages, pin important conversations, or filter unwanted messages? Interested in improving your photos, sending them by text, or organizing them into albums? Join Solana Beach Community Connections and Senior Tech Connect in a collaborative smartphone workshop offered at no cost to participants.

The next set of classes will be held on Monday September 14, 21, and 28 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM in the classroom at La Colonia Community Center. The Center is located at 715 Valley Avenue, Solana Beach, 92075.

The workshop will cover texting essentials beyond simple text and image messages; photo basics (taking and organizing photos), and photo mastery (eliminating duplicates, editing, backing up, and organizing photos). To maximize instruction, enrollment is limited to 20 participants who are expected to attend at least two of the three workshops.

Dylan Willis from Senior Tech Connect will be the instructor. Mr. Willis is a San Diego Market President at Senior Tech Connect. As a Marine Corps Veteran, his background is in cybersecurity and network administration. Senior Tech Connect is an organization committed to teaching mature adults to safely use technology's tools to better connect with their loved ones, communities, and our world.

Previous workshops offered by Senior Tech Connect and Solana Beach Community Connections have been enthusiastically reviewed by participants. Space is limited to 20 participants per workshop and registration is required. Participants must register in advance for the three classes and attend at least two of them.
