Kids Summer Day Camps (Ages 5-11)

Weekly Sessions meet Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM at Fletcher Cove Community Center (133 Pacific Ave) and Thursdays at La Colonia Park (715 Valley Ave).

The fee is $185/week ($240 non-residents) per child and includes activities such as beach games, swimming, arts & crafts, Library visit, games, friends, and a Thursday field trip to an exciting destination.

After-care is offered from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM ($53/week). $81/week non-residents.

Our popular “Leader in Training” program is also available this summer for 12-16 year olds for only $46/week!
 

Summer 2026 Camps

Salty Science & Ocean Magic: June 15 - 19

This week blends science and creativity as campers explore waves, tides, erosion, buoyancy, and ocean chemistry through experiments and hands-on activities. Curiosity and problem-solving are encouraged in a fun, and collaborative way. Our Thursday field trip will be to the FLEET SCIENCE CENTER.

Splash & Play: June 22 - 26

This high-energy week is all about movement, water play, and summer fun. Campers stay cool with supervised splash games, water relays, and beach-based activities that encourage teamwork, confidence, and joyful play. Safety, cooperation, and inclusion are emphasized throughout all activities. Our Thursday field trip this week is to THE WAVE WATERPARK.

Beach Olympics: June 29 - July 3

Campers participate in a variety of friendly competitions designed to promote teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship. Events emphasize participation, effort, and encouragement ensuring an inclusive experience for all skill levels. Our Thursday field trip this week is to SAN DIEGO ICE ARENA.

Tide Pool Explorers: July 6 - 10

This nature-focused week encourages curiosity and observation as campers learn about marine life, habitats, and coastal ecosystems. Through hands-on science activities, art projects, and guided discovery, Our Thursday field trip will be ALGA NORTE POOL.

Coastal Creators: July 13 - 17  

Summer is a great time to be outdoors and play! Campers explore artistic expressions inspired by the ocean and coastal environment. Through visual art, movement, and creative building, campers strengthen fine motor skills, self-expression, and confidence while celebrating the beauty of the coast. Our Thursday field trip will be to the NEW CHILDREN’S MUSEUM.

Wave Riders: July 20 - 24

Campers celebrate the unique culture of Southern California through art, music, movement, and exploration of local wildlife and traditions. This week builds regional pride and connection to the coastal community. Designed for kids who love adventure, water activities, and the energy of Summer. Our Thursday field trip will be to THE WAVE WATERPARK

Beach Bash: July 27 - 31

Campers celebrate summer with a high-energy, retro-inspired week filled with music, movement, colorful crafts, and classic beach games. This week emphasizes fun, creativity, and community as campers wrap up the season in style. Our Thursday field trip will be to SKATEWORLD SAN DIEGO.

Registration for Solana Beach residents begins Wednesday, April 1st, 2026 at 9:00 AM

Cancellation Policy

There will be a $50 cancellation fee for anyone who cancels in writing prior to 30 days before the camp session begins.

No refund is given if cancelled within 29 days of the start date of the session.
