Free Farmers Market at La Colonia Park Canceled This Sunday

The regular Sunday Free Farmers Market at La Colonia Park this weekend is canceled this Sunday, due to the Día de los Muertos celebration taking place at the park on Sunday, October 18.

Please know that our commitment to providing food has not changed, and this decision was not made lightly, but was the most responsible choice for our community at this time.

Many families depend on the market each week, and alternative arrangements to ensure food remains available to those who need it have been made.

For families needing food this Sunday, October 18:

Food will be available through the pantry at 989 Lomas Santa Fe Drive. Please contact us directly to coordinate pickup arrangements at Solanabeachbackpacks@icloud.com.

We appreciate your understanding, your trust, and your continued support. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to La Colonia Park the following Sunday.

Please help share this update so that everyone in our community knows about this temporary change.
