Solana Beach Plastic Reduction Ordinance Update
On Wednesday, September 30th, Solana Beach City Councilmembers passed the first reading of a draft ordinance to further reduce single-use, non-compostable food service ware by requiring all materials to be compostable or reusable.

This casual event is free and open to anyone who is interested in networking and learning more about Rotary and environmental causes.

Surfrider Restaurant Blitz on October 17th from 1:30 - 3:30 PM
Help expand Ocean Friendly Restaurants by supporting Solana Beach businesses in reducing waste and single-use plastics! Volunteers will attend a short training, learn OFR criteria, practice conducting compliance checks, and gain tools to support new restaurant outreach and registrations.
