Beach Blanket Movie Night 2026
The City of Solana Beach and the City's Parks and Recreation Commission are hosting the 21st annual Beach Blanket Movie Night event at Fletcher Cove Park on Saturday, August 8 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
In honor of the City's 40th Anniversary, Beach Blanket Movie Night will be held on the sand, just like our Concert on the Beach! This year, enjoy live music from the Silver String Submarine Band, then watch the movie North Shore after sunset!
BBMN offers plenty of refreshments: pizza, popcorn, cookies, and brownies. Refreshment tickets will be available for purchase using cash or card at the City booth.
All proceeds from BBMN will be used to benefit future Solana Beach Parks and Recreation projects or events.
T-shirts commemorating our July 2nd Concert on the Beach and Beach Blanket Movie Night will be available for purchase at the City booth for $25 each, with cash or card!
So, bring a blanket, pack a picnic, and head on down to Fletcher Cove Park for a fun-filled evening and a movie under the stars!
This family-friendly event is free and open to the public. We encourage you to arrive CAR FREE.
Fletcher Cove Park is located at 111 South Sierra Avenue, Solana Beach.
