The bridges that connect Cedros Avenue with Highway 101 at Cliff Street and Rosa Street are getting new light fixtures! The Pedestrian Bridge Light Fixture Replacement Project is scheduled to begin August 3. This project involves replacing all existing outdated and corroded metal light fixtures with new stainless-steel LED fixtures that will be painted to match the color of the bridges.

The project will begin with the Cliff Street Bridge, then move to the Rosa Street Bridge.

During construction, there will be work zones secured with barriers, but pedestrian access will remain open at all times. While work is underway, there may be periods during nighttime hours when only certain sections of the bridge lighting are operational.

Use caution when traveling on the bridge and surrounding areas.
