Calling all Solana Beach teens passionate about climate change!

Are you a high school or middle school student who wants to make a change at the local level? Become a part of the solution on Solana Beach’s Climate and Resiliency Commission as a Junior Commissioner!

The City is now recruiting Junior Commissioners to join the Solana Beach Climate and Resiliency Commission. In this role, you’ll attend bi-monthly in-person meetings to help guide the City’s Climate Action Plan, implement local policies, and work with government officials to provide meaningful youth perspectives on climate solutions. Junior Commissioners have the opportunity to volunteer at City events and help create social media content and videos.
